Osteopath
Raphaella Varnavides
As an Osteopath I treat all joints and muscles of the body from the head to the toes. I have experience treating a wide range of complaints from acute to chronic conditions. I am also trained to treat sports injuries, spinal/postural concerns, and work-related aches and strains. I use a combination of joint mobilisations, manipulations, and soft tissue techniques to improve function and reduce pain.
My clinical expertise includes taking a thorough case history and examination, to gain a clear holistic understanding of all possible factors contributing to the presenting complaint. During each session I emphasis on working with my patients, listening to their concerns, and tailoring treatments specific to their individual needs. I am an empathetic Osteopath striving to motivate my patients with exercise and advice to prevent future recurrence of pain. Alongside my Master’s degree in Osteopathy, I hold a diploma in Naturopathy from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine, to help patients with nutrition and well-being advice.
